Every day I come to the realization that it doesn't take so much for things to change it only takes a change of perspective.
Take my assistant head teacher for example who told me that even if they had the money to fix the classrooms she would rather use the money for a need in her own home. Let's now imagine that the kids in that class with a big hole in the middle are her children, do you think she'll talk like that? The answer is No!
The teachers who over-flog kids to the point where they have serious injuries or even faint would never do that to their own children.

Teachers would take her work more seriously if she had the responsibility of teaching her own kids.
The government would respond to the complaints and pleas of the education sector if their kids were in these schools.
We have removed ourselves from our work so much so that we are now forgetting that these children are human beings and the child in this class is someone's precious little angel.
Until we treat the system as though it's ours, everything will look like a big job and a lot of sacrifice on our path.
Before you take any action today, dear educator ask yourself the question: Would I do this if they were mine?
